Nearly twenty-five thousand residences in Queensland's southeast woke up experiencing outages on the start of the week after intense storm systems passed over the area, generating powerful gusts hitting 109 kilometers per hour.
Large Ice Stones and Widespread Damage
Locals witnessed giant hailstones measuring up to 7 centimeters in certain regions. Weather authorities announced that various areas across the state had been hit with substantial ice precipitation.

Tuesday was predicted as the wettest day, with continued storm activity expected across different parts of both regions.

Public health experts alerted that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the state's northern country region, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
